Overall Rationale: Mostly care about wins. How you win, who you beat, and number of wins. Head to heads matter most for me. From halfway through the season wins matter more. if you can stay undefeated through the chaos of college football you deserve a higher ranking.

1 BYU Cougars Love the heart. Do I believe they're the best team in the nation? no. Do they 100% deserve it based on their performance? yes. and I'll wait to be proven otherwise
2 UCLA Bruins the last Undefeated B1G team is UCLA? sign me up!
3 Miami Hurricanes should've lost. they have the second best whistle in college football after uga. i don't know why. They play dirty. but they win. begrudgingly putting them up here but Notre dame will spank them
4 Texas Tech Red Raiders nobody knows how good they are lol. Only up here because they beat houston who i think is really good.
5 Utah Utes honestly might be better than BYU whom i think is really really good. These two Utah based teams might be top 5 teams in the US.
6 Ohio State Buckeyes fml. Indiana was better in every aspect. they Should've won, but got lucky by a toe tap. it was indiana's worst performance in 2 years and OSU still needed luck. They won though. That's what matters.
7 Georgia Bulldogs I just don't think bama is that good so that win is looking meh. UGA can line up with anybody, and they show that with my top 10 ranking but they're always lacking something.
8 Indiana Hoosiers To my eyes, the best team in america. Remove the mistakes like they always have been able to do, and they win another championship. Cig's a genius
9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Thank god i can stop hearing about ND. I think they're really good, but I hate the bootlicking. They're a good team. If it was just the team on the field i'd have no issue with them but the fans and media ruin the entire experience in watching them. I love CJ carr though. dude can ball.

11 Tennessee Volunteers I'll be honest - I don't think tennessee is that good. The coach seems good, but they'll get dismantled by any real top 10 team imo. They managed to out physical a bama team that was down bad after a bad loss to uga but otherwise idk. They don't have anybody else to play though really. Kentucky is mid, LSU sucks. Tennessee might be 11-1, and then will deservedly go to the playoffs
12 Northwestern Wildcats Why'd you struggle against MSU? kinda ruined the optics i had for you...
13 Kentucky Wildcats when they're lined up against even talent or a bit less, they win. But they can't (imo) beat the top teams for real.
14 Ole Miss Rebels They're a good team I just don't think chambliss can save them every game.
15 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa might go 11-1.... I don't think they're as good as last year, and they should've lost to michigan if it wasn't for the weird penalties on michigan on that last drive and the player getting hurt giving them time to draw up a play. They're a bit weak, and I expect them to lose to nebraska later but they keep winning somehow.
16 Wake Forest Demon Deacons They look solid. Just when they played miami it didn't look so good
17 USC Trojans honestly looking better. I don't 100% see it yet, but they keep winning
18 James Madison Dukes How is JMU so consistently good at finding these coaches?
19 Alabama Crimson Tide I think bama wins out. they're a good team, with some bad luck against UGA and now an emotional down this week.
20 Oregon Ducks With Dante I think this is still a top 10 team. If he's not back before OSU though this team is cooked.
21 Texas Longhorns one of the more overrated teams (by me, but still). match them up against ole miss already so i can remove this bum team from my list...
22 LSU Tigers kinda like ole miss (ironic). They've got issues, they can't win every game. they're mid.
23 Michigan Wolverines Imo the best defense in the nation. They are amazing. they get called for 3rd down penalties more than any other team, oftentimes to my eyes it's mis-called because the other team flops or it's just a bias against them, but the defense is amazing. The offense absolutely sucks. they can blame bryce. Not his fault. Beck (OC) isn't that good, and it seems he's actively trying to lose them games, but their O-line is just missing assignments every single play. I was watching the penn state game live because that's what was on for me and it was just brutal. Tommy (little cj) isn't as good as cj, and while the crowd appeared to like him it wasn't his playing that allowed them to score, it was the defense getting two really good field positions.

25 Boise State Broncos Oregon loss looking worse and worse....
