DataDrivenPirate 9 (23.60) Nebraska's close game against Indiana means Oregon's victory against Nebraska is worth quite a bit

HieloLuz 12 I stood by my ranking of Oregon last week, and I will again, but wow this team looks awful. They have quality wins over Boise, USC, and Nebraska. And their 2 losses to Oklahoma State and UCLA are among best of all 2 loss teams.

Lex_Ludorum 15 Good resume, bad eye test. Most other teams would get the benefit of the doubt with their QB on the shelf. I choose to believe.

ColombianInIowa24 16 32.95 - Surprised they sneak back in, but I guess I shouldn't be with Houston's ranking in this run.

Losses: @Oklahoma State (31-39), UCLA (15-17), @ Ohio State
Maladroit44 16 Oregon, meanwhile, is sorta the opposite of Iowa. There might not be a team in the sport that's having a less characteristic season than the Ducks right now, and that's not *just* in the sense that they're worse than expected. They're also inconsistent yet show flashes of potential, they haven't had a decisive FBS win *or* loss yet, and their QB situation grows increasingly unprecedented with every passing week. Somehow Dylan Raiola was the hero this time around? I'm holding out hope that a light matchup with Illinois will provide enough time that Dante Moore should be back for Oregon's next meaningful game, against Northwestern in two weeks, but until then I don't think I can say anything about this team with confidence.

ResearchFlaky5912 24 OKST and Nebraska just barely miss the poll after losses and USC falls due to general Big 10 weakness. That hits both wins and one loss of Oregon's. Bit of a slide despite a win, both due to those factors and general Big 10 shakiness.

quantum_jedi 25 (51.48, +5) Oregon returns to the rankings with a gritty win over Nebraska. The Ducks are really missing Dante Moore who, rightfully, remains sidelined with a serious head injury. Oregon looks like a team that doesn't know what they're identity is. That could be due to two new coordinators getting their footing still, but there is still a lot the Ducks can achieve this year.
