1 Miami Hurricanes Straightforward, but very flimsy case. More here due to the flawed record of everyone else rather than their on field play.
2 BYU Cougars Here more by the virtue of chaos. I'd say closer to #5 but everyone here collapsed this week.
3 Georgia Bulldogs First of all, what the F is going on here.

Georgia is ahead of Tennessee by the basis of being a more complete team. I need to see more from Tennessee's offense in the passing game.
4 Tennessee Volunteers Straightforward, this years OU. Likely will drop a game due to offense.
5 Ole Miss Rebels LSU definitely has a pulse, so that loss is getting a little more shine. Overall the shellacking of Mizzou really stresses what this team can be at it's peak.
6 Ohio State Buckeyes Sayin out makes me want to drop this team further. Otherwise i'd have them #1.
7 UCLA Bruins Probably will get knocked down with more meat in the schedule. That Oregon game was a huge turning point for their positioning.
8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish What is there resume right now? I don't know, but i'd give that BYU matchup more weight than Tech.
9 Texas Tech Red Raiders SOS of 82nd but... everyone below is gimpy in some manner
10 Alabama Crimson Tide Good god, a green QB is showing. I thought the defense played well, we'll have to if its truly a schematic item that the QB will need to overcome or just Knowles being Knowles.
11 Kentucky Wildcats Head to head puts them here. Two soft wins in OT, otherwise strong performance so far.
12 Texas Longhorns Comparable opponent with Indiana + Massively outsized SOS difference.
13 Indiana Hoosiers See above.
14 Houston Cougars Little more of a swing this week with the Big 12's performance overall.
15 Utah Utes Who have you played? That Colorado game does not look great.
16 Missouri Tigers I really expected a better performance.
17 LSU Tigers While not shellacked by Ole Miss, I do feel Missouri has the better overall resume and comparable won't come into play here.
18 Northwestern Wildcats Sitting steady, more about those around them at this point.
19 Oregon Ducks Same as prior week. Really don't get the Raiola problem against UCLA
20 USC Trojans Same as prior week
21 Florida Gators Sneaking back in with a win over Texas. Probably in that 20's range this year.
22 Oklahoma State Cowboys Not getting punished. Oregon is clearly playing a hellish schedule but well rounded overall.
23 Boise State Broncos Oregon based, see above.
24 Nebraska Cornhuskers Again, playing up to #19 and #13 in back to back weeks. Rhule just can't seem to jump the hump but the floor is here.
25 Auburn Tigers 24th in Sagarin, win over #3 and loss to #21. Yeah, this makes sense.
