Overall Rationale: Poll uses stats earned on the field in each game. This model does not apply any special weight to head-to-heads as that increasingly becomes a fool's errand as "circles of suck' form. Wins are ~50% of the weight, SoS is ~25%, all other stats combined is the last ~25%.
Based on team statistics with each statistic being weighted differently. Teams must have played 3 games as an FBS school to qualify for a ranking. Stats earned against FCS teams are weighted less. Overtime losses count as a "partial win" with the value being n/(n+1) where "n" is the number of OTs (whereas wins are worth 1). When a team has less than three games played in a season, select prior year stats are used as a "starter".
