StFuzzySlippers 9 One thing stood out to me about the SEC's "great transitive chain"— every team that lost (except MSU) lost on the road. Ole Miss and Florida also had the stress of playing a tough game on the road *after* a hard win the previous week. I took that into account when amending the order.
Tarmacked 9 This SEC groups is irrational, it's hard to rank them. I'm leaning on returning talent/computer metrics here. I will note Ole Miss' resume has looked far worse with Louisville falling out, so i'm very very likely to move them down harder if they drop another. Right now Chambliss gets the benefit.
TossedRightOut 9
Wescat 9
Zloggt 9 ...if Ole Miss gets smacked around by Florida, who then gets smacked around by Missouri the next week after...then maybe the Tigers would deliver an all-time beatdown of the Rebs in two weeks' time (or maybe Mizzou is the one to get smacked around idk lol)!
bernkastel87 10
DarthYoda2594 10 Florida loss got crushed, but I'm not sure that affects much for me - LSU win is still stronger, even at home
diehardcubforever 10
Doogitywoogity 10 Man it’s a few things with yall. That Florida loss looks worse, the Louisville win looks worse. The LSU win looks less compelling to be the ground state and not the peak, but maybe I’m overreacting? I’m only keeping yall this high because I’m not really sure and want to see more from yall. I also don’t quite know what to make of Louisville. I think they’re a high chaos team though so it makes this whole thing tough. I do know that the Ole Miss runs defense needs to stiffen up considerably for me to take them seriously.

Justanother_0 10 SEC Louisville if they had a marginally better defense and a win over LSU. Without that LSU win they'd probably be unranked.

sgtshenanigans 11 Ole Miss was on a bye but they move up two because of two teams in front of them. This is where I am going to state that sometimes it would be nice to have a computer poll that I could just feed data into as the middle of the SEC seems intent on creating a nice little circle of suck and it's hard to tell who deserves the highest ranking of this group. The win over Louisville is looking worse all of the time and now the loss to Florida also looks worse. So I'm just guessing here that by seasons end Ole Miss will be a bubble playoff team just ahead of the other SEC bubble playoff teams.

IceColdDrPepper_Here 16 Ole Miss’s resume has taken probably the biggest hit of any team in the country. Louisville sucks, LSU’s one decent win over Clemson carries as much weight now as their other buy game results, and now Florida just got demolished by Ole Miss’s ex QB in Austin Simmons

Maladroit44 17 See above. Still, though, how do you make sense of a team going from a spectacular win over one opponent in its approximate bracket to a massive blowout loss to another? Let alone the team that handed out *that* blowout then doing exactly the same thing a week later?

HieloLuz 21 The Louisville |6| win that helped get them ranked #1 2 weeks ago is worthless now. LSU |3| is a quality win still, but getting the brakes blown off by Florida |2| is a bad look.

ninjatown23 12 Although they have a head to head win vs. LSU, it was on their home field with every reason to play their hearts out. The rest of their performance has is much less impressive than their one possession win over LSU. A 3 point win vs. 2-3 Louisville and getting blown out at Florida hurts their case. Chambliss is holding them as a top 15 team.
