2 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is undefeated with nice wins over Mississippi State (4-1, beat Missouri and Minnesota), Kentucky (4-1, beat Texas A&M), Florida State (3-2, beat Virginia) and South Carolina (2-3). Would be obvious #1 if they beat Georgia this week
3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is 5-0 with wins over Wisconsin (4-1, beat Penn State), North Carolina (2-2), Michigan State (2-3) and Purdue (2-3)
4 Miami Hurricanes Miami is 5-0 with wins over Wake Forest (4-1), Clemson (3-2), and Stanford (2-3)
5 BYU Cougars BYU is 4-0 with a nice win over Arizona (4-1, beat Cincinnati). Also has a win over TCU (2-3)
6 Pittsburgh Panthers Pitt is 5-0 with a nice win over Virginia Tech (4-1), Also has wins over UCF (3-2) and Syracuse (2-2)
7 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 5-0 with wins over Vanderbilt (3-2), Oklahoma (2-2) and Arkansas (2-3). Huge game this week vs Alabama could bump them way up in my poll.
8 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana is 5-0 and anchored by a win over what appears to be a pretty decent Northwestern team (3-1). Also beat Rutgers 1-4
9 Texas Tech Red Raiders Texas tech is 5-0 and has a win over Houston (4-1) as well as over colorado (2-3)
10 Mississippi State Bulldogs Mississippi State is my top 1 loss team with nice wins over Missouri (4-1, beat Florida) and Minnesota (4-1, beat Washington). Only loss is to Alabama. I debated having them below Ohio State, who is 1 point away from being in the top 2, but I like Miss State's wins better than Ohio State's for now. Even with the blowout loss to Alabama.
11 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 4-1 and has a nice win over Iowa (4-1, beat Iowa State). Also beat Illinois 2-3. Only loss is to Texas
12 Utah Utes Utah is 4-0 with a win over Iowa state (3-2, beat West Virginia). Also has a win over Arkansas (2-3)
13 Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska is 5-0 but its best wins are over Maryland (2-3) and Michigan State (2-3)
14 UCLA Bruins UCLA is 4-0 with wins over Cal (2-3), Purdue (2-3) and Maryland (2-3)
15 Duke Blue Devils Duke is 4-0 with wins over Stanford (2-3) and Illinois (2-3)
16 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma state is 3-1 with an awesome win over Oregon (4-1, beat USC). Also has a win over West Virginia (3-2, beat Virginia)
17 Oregon Ducks Oregon is 4-1 with a win over USC (5-1, beat Washington). Lost to Oklahoma State
18 Missouri Tigers Missouri is 4-1 with a nice win over Florida (4-1, beat Ole Miss). Also beat Kansas (2-2). Lost to Miss State.
19 Florida Gators Florida is 4-1 with wins over Ole Miss (4-1, beat LSU) and Auburn (3-2). Lost to Missouri big.
20 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss is 4-1 with a win over LSU (4-1, beat Texas AM). Also beat Louisville (2-3), but that win has lost its luster. Lost to Florida.
21 Arizona Wildcats Arizona is 4-1 with a nice win over Cincinnati (4-1). Lost to BYU.
22 LSU Tigers LSU is 4-1 with wins over Clemson (3-2) and Texas A&M (3-2). Lost to Ole Miss
23 Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin is 4-1 with wins over Penn State (3-2) and Michigan State (2-3). Lost to Notre Dame
