| ChBass | 1 | Bama just went into Starkvegas and shut down what is still, overall, the highest performing offense in college football. They are one of two teams with both a top-10 offense and defense, and they will be a force to be reckoned with. |
| ColombianInIowa24 | 1 | 3.49 - Easily has shaken out to be the strongest with quality wins. Well above the rest, with Mississippi State win giving a lot of great transitives. Confident in ranked status. |

| Roscoe_Filburn | 1 | Their offense seems legitimately scary, and they absolutely blew the doors off of both Mississippi State and Kentucky. I think they are the top team in the country. |
| ryseing | 1 | |
| spasm01 | 1 | |
| StFuzzySlippers | 1 | There is quite an impressive transitive chain in the SEC right now of Bama > MSU > Mizzou > Florida > Ole Miss > LSU. All of those teams have 1 loss at most and are undefeated against all teams outside of this group, including 5-0 vs p4 ooc. All of this, combined with just how increasingly dominant UA looks every week, tells me that they're just that damn good. |

| elnino550 | 2 | Wins against Mississippi State and Kentucky in largely dominant fashion is enough for the 2nd best overall resume. I would have them power ranked number one at this moment in time, the team is improving every game. |
| GatorBolt | 2 | IMO I think they're a legit contender, will see how they look against Georgia |
| Hey_Its_Roomie | 2 | |
| HieloLuz | 2 | Alabama, Pitt, and Texas Tech all have very similar resumes. They all have 2 quality wins against a tier 3 and 4 team, Mississippi State |3| and Kentucky |4| for Alabama. Alabama goes ahead since they have blown out both of those teams. |
| jthomas694 | 2 | |

| Zef_Apollo | 2 | Look dominant against some surprisingly good teams but I'd believe you if you told me that Kentucky and Miss St (both who should be ranked right now) end the year unranked with 4-5 losses. Best offense in the country currently in terms of weapons at each position. Best wins Miss St. Kentucky. Currently have the second best record but could change greatly over the next few weeks. |

| Doogitywoogity | 3 | Huge win over a MS St team that still has a strong resume with wins over Mizzou and Minnesota. In a couple weeks when I have a bit more time I’ll have to do a deeper dive on these many blowouts to help me figure out how much of it is a mismatch vs luck vs actual skill differences. I’ll happily admit I’m not sure at this point and don’t have the time until the weekend of the 24th to figure that out though. |
| e8odie | 3 | |
| GeauxTri | 3 | Undefeated with wins over Florida State, at Kentucky, South Carolina, and a dominant road win at Mississippi State. |
| HideNZeke | 3 | One of the concerns of this team for me was how they traveled. The went to the land of cowbells and did very well. There might be few to no teams that can effectively slow them down. I had them jump the next two teams that I really do respect mostly because of how the cluster of 1 loss SEC teams shake out |
| Hobbes_121 | 3 | |
| IceColdDrPepper_Here | 3 | Remember those Saban teams where you went in thinking maybe they could get upset and then Bama’s up 40 before the old SEC on CBS music is over? Yeah that’s how this game felt. DeBoer’s got an absolute contender this year and a colossal matchup against Georgia on deck |

| Bank_Gothic | 5 | Demolished a good MSU team, after another slow start. I was worried that the slow starts were a sign of something negative, but now I just think that's Bama's style this season. They're throwing jabs in the first half to figure opponents out, then delivering the knockout blows in the second. |

| Maladroit44 | 7 | DeBoer's Tide have been really tough to rank, at least if you don't let the name on the jersey convince you they're a top-ten team in perpetuity. Every year it seems like their peak is an utterly unstoppable force, but it's rare they ever hit that high for a full 60 minutes. This week was about as locked-in as they've been all year...but they also went four-and-out, then two-and-fumble, then four-and-out during the second quarter. Can't have that kinda lapse against a team like Georgia next week. |

It also has the #1 offense (46.1 points). The defense ranks only 19th, which is why it's an underdog to Notre Dame and Miami (28% and 33%) but favored over everyone below. |
