| Bank_Gothic | 8 | I don't know what to make of Tech. The win over UH was a coin flip at home, and that game against CU was ugly. I'm not fooled by the final score. They still have a great roster, but I will need to see more or they are going to slip in my poll. |

| elnino550 | 8 | Their offense looked extremely suspect against a weak Colorado side. And I would have them power-ranked below 3 B12 teams currently. But they're unbeaten with a win over Houston enough to have the top resume. |

| Justanother_0 | 8 | If it weren't for Houston blowing the 2 point conversion I'd have this team either mid 20's or unranked. While that ranked win is doing a ton of work here, Tech looks like one of the sloppiest teams in the Big XII, but consistently gets bailed out by their competition being worse (seriously, Colorado looked like one of the worst teams in the FBS Saturday) |

| Maladroit44 | 21 | Nothing Texas Tech has shown so far gives me the utmost confidence. Sure, they're undefeated and they have a couple maybe-solid wins, but it's hard to look at a team trailing Colorado 7-3 at halftime and respond with anything more than tepid praise for their eventual 29-7 victory. I don't know how anyone still has them in the top ten; they never belonged there to begin with, and they haven't proven otherwise. |

| _THE__BOULDER_ | 9 | Texas Tech had a great defensive outing in this one, with another INT returned for a TD and 3 more INTs collected on top of that. Not a ton of yardage on offense (134 yards passing, 181 yards rushing) but both J'Koby Williams and Quinten Joyner had pretty good days out there, averaging 5.2 YPC and 6.3 YPC, respectively. This game was actually pretty close until midway through the 4th when the dam burst on Colorado. But, considering TTech benefitted from 3 INTs in the 3rd and only really got 12 points off of that, as well as having a missed field goal and a couple turnovers on downs in Q2, I'm a little worried about this offensive production. Currently have them over Utah as Utah had a bye and TTech is now 5-0 over Utah's 4-0, but I do like Utah more so far this season. |

| LookAtMaxwell | 13 | Won 29–7 at Colorado. Houston beat UCF, which gave Texas Tech a new chain win and made its head-to-head win over Houston (now #23) count for more. It's the only team from #12 to #21 with a rule win over a current Top 25 team. |
