HideNZeke Ballot for 2026 Week 6

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 5, 2026, 2:51 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Texas Longhorns Still an unsteady #1 but I can't really say anything has changed since last between them and Georgia. The spot most likely gets snatched this week though
Georgia Bulldogs
Alabama Crimson Tide One of the concerns of this team for me was how they traveled. The went to the land of cowbells and did very well. There might be few to no teams that can effectively slow them down. I had them jump the next two teams that I really do respect mostly because of how the cluster of 1 loss SEC teams shake out
Miami Hurricanes Still a natty contender
Ohio State Buckeyes You throw the ball to Smith and then you win the game.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Indiana Hoosiers
BYU Cougars Not a great showing for Bear or the team. For the sake of consistency and my respect for the Arizona win I kind of just let it slide. We have a 3-way tie for Big 12 frontrunners. I'm not entirely sure they deserve to be put over the SEC lump but I'll defer on having a bunch of teams jump them until next week. 8-30 is genuinely a tossup
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Utah Utes Might be my favorite big 12 team but the other two have a better win as of right now
Mississippi State Bulldogs Did they do well enough to deserve such a jump in a home loss? No. But Alabama does look really good, and they don't look bad enough to justify ignoring the head to head against missouri with the head to head on Florida and so on. That will have to change, but for now I'm letting it rest as played. Their ceiling feels lower than teams like Ole Miss though, so I think it would be justified if you did override it
Missouri Tigers Not a bad program
Florida Gators
Ole Miss Rebels Higher ceiling than than most.
LSU Tigers Also has a higher ceiling even if I don't full trust them
Tennessee Volunteers
Wake Forest Demon Deacons I said they were overrated last week but I guess I actually do like them. A piss pounding of a bad Stanford helps
Oklahoma State Cowboys I might as well be consistent if I'm going to defer all judgement to the head to head this week. I guess we'll pretend Tulsa is a fluke
Oregon Ducks There's a flock of good 1-loss Big Ten teams. Oregon really hasn't looked that good but they have an okay win against USC. Their ceiling is higher and you can see a scenario where they turn the corner, even without Moore
Iowa Hawkeyes If all the injuries we had this week last then we're boned. Our offense did string a couple okay drives against OSU, so I guess I won't freefall them as much as I thought. The schedule is not as downhill after Washington as we thought preseason. We might fade
Wisconsin Badgers I had them ranked a little high last week and I'll let it happen again
Northwestern Wildcats Both them and Wisconsin might be riding on a less respectable Penn State win than would have thought, but they also played damn tough against a true Natty caliber team.
UCLA Bruins
Pittsburgh Panthers Undefeated respect start to come into play. Sorry Duke for not quite making it
USC Trojans Almost forgot about them tbh but sure. let's put Riley on fraud warch
