Bank_Gothic 12 If MSU is the best in the SEC middle class, then Missouri must be just below them. The win over Florida was impressive, but the jury is still out on how good Florida actually is. MSU has the head-to-head, so they're at the top, but Missouri is close behind.

StFuzzySlippers 13 It's a high jump from unranked to 13, just like Florida last week, but the big win kinda forces it. It's just really hard to drop these 1 loss SEC teams too far when the teams beneath them just don't have the ooc p4 wins to compare.

Also, of the SEC teams that lost on the road, Mizzou's loss to MSU was the most competitive, so they get to jump up the transitive win ladder.

Jakesnake42 14 Huh, y'all might actually be top 20 good this year instead of 8-4 with wins over cupcakes...good work. Last Week: NR

Justanother_0 14 I struggled to determine how much stock I should be putting in Mizzou's win over Florida. On one hand, it was a blowout, but on the other, Florida might genuinely have the second worst defense in the SEC (there is still Arkansas to consider) and it was masked by Ole Miss' star running back being out of the game. I'll give them credit in the win, but when their second best win is bum ass Kansas I can only put them up so far.

Maladroit44 15 Well, shit. My feelings about the whole Mizzou–Florida–Ole Miss–LSU chain are obviously complicated, but they've grown even more complicated because of how the supporting cast performed this week: terribly, to say the least. LSU's big win over Clemson looks irrelevant, Ole Miss's over Louisville looks shockingly unimpressive, and Mizzou's loss to Mississippi State immediately got worse even as they obliterated the Gators. For now, I'm just throwing them all in the mid-to-low 10s and waiting to see if any of them prove it against one of the SEC's real, undeniable elites.

dukemetoo 19 This might be the most impressive win of the season. The game was close until right at the end of the second quarter. I still don't love this team, but putting that performance on a team I thought was good (Florida) is impossible to ignore. They proved me wrong.

Doogitywoogity 20 More confusion. Great run defense put a stop to my Gators’ hopes and dreams. That does not bode well for my Aggies next week. Really tough judging the SEC and B1G rn. The Mizzou - Ole Miss game in a few weeks will likely be the other half of connecting the pieces.

quantum_jedi 13 (52.29, +18) Perhaps I have been too harsh on the Tigers. They smashed what I thought was a resurgent Florida squad. Perhaps the middle of the SEC is really strong, but they could also all be meh. Regardless, great win for Mizzou who gets to stay home with a struggling A&M up next.

_THE__BOULDER_ 14 Absolute beatdown over Florida. Completely shut down Jaden Baugh and forced Aaron Philo to beat them in the air, which he did not. Meanwhile Austin Simmons had an NFL caliber day: 340 Yards passing, 2 TDs, 23/30 on the day. The Mizzou receiving core was able to accomplish huge chunk plays on a pretty shambolic secondary showing for UF. Cayden Lee had 8 receptions for 110 yards; Donovan Olugbode had 6 receptions for 94 yards and a TD. Mizzou's Jamal Roberts rushed for 211 yards and 3TDs, with a long of 80 yards. Mizzou has had Florida's number ever since they joined the SEC and it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.
