Bank_Gothic	8	I don't know what to make of Tech. It's a good roster, but the defense has regressed and the QB play has been inconsistent. The SHSU and ACU games were poor showings, but I think the win over Houston was good and I actually think Oregon State is one of the better G6 teams this season (we'll have to wait and see how that win ages, but I like it for now). They are probably still the best team in the Big 12, but I have my eye on them.

They look legitimately good, but this is where the rankings start getting very loosy, goosy. The offense has been productive, they're undefeated, and there hasn't been a bad performance yet. Is this a top-10 team? Maybe. Is this a team that could lose to someone completely random in three weeks? Also yes.

While their efforts to reload in the trenches have borne fruit, the Red Raiders aren't quite as impressive as they were last year, and a 2-pt win vs a solid Houston squad can only lift them so high when considering the teams around them. It's not all bad for Texas Tech, but a weaker schedule will mean they need to go out and control every aspect of the game, and they've not quite done that so far.

_THE__BOULDER_	11	What should have been a cupcake game actually looked a bit frustrating for TTech. Despite finishing 49-14, this game felt a lot closer. Two pick-6s on back to back drives by the same player put a little bit of distance between TTech and Sam Houston, but the Bearkats stayed in it for a bit, bringing the score to 21-14 TTech at one point, and managed to nick 3 interceptions off of Will Hammond on 3 back to back to back drives too. Not sure Will Hammond is the guy that will lead TTech to another conference championship, but they did, ultimately, get the job done here.
