1 Texas Longhorns This team is still throwing a lot of red flags but I'm not going to dethrone them on a ranked win. My gut says Georgia and Miami are better, but I'll give it another week
2 Georgia Bulldogs Oklahoma is a bad team, so I'm still waiting on a relevant game from them. They're ticking most of the boxes I've been looking for
3 Miami Hurricanes Wake Forest is all the sudden looking decent, and I think the back half of that game was them playing scared to fuck up Mensah's statline. He's a dude. Toney's a dude. There's an argument for number 1 in my eyes
4 Ohio State Buckeyes I question Day a little bit but they're one point away from being the number 1 team
5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish
6 Indiana Hoosiers Replicating magic is hard to do. Northwestern looked decent but they are risk of getting passed up from the teams behind them. I'll defer for now
7 Florida Gators Huge jump for a team that won the ultimate trap game, but they do look solid and I don't see any better way to sort out this cluster of SEC teams. It's theirs today
8 Alabama Crimson Tide This offense is dealing too hard. I still want to see them wins big game on the road
9 Ole Miss Rebels Still very much in the mix. Chambliss is good and it's a trap game
10 LSU Tigers I'm a Leavitt opp but this team still has so many tools to work with if they get it together. They are ranked high for ceiling reasons
11 BYU Cougars Still good
12 Texas Tech Red Raiders Im not gonna lie, I'm not paying that much attention to them. A close game against Houston a few weeks back doesn't wow me. Utah is gaining on them
13 Utah Utes They have been proving that the bones of this program is still super solid even without Whittingham
14 Iowa Hawkeyes I know the stat line isn't showing it, but there is a semblance of offense here, and nobody is going to score that many points against Michigan. Still, that's two power 5 games without being able to make it all click. This is a good not great team
15 Tennessee Volunteers They probably don't deserve it but they kept it close to the #1 team
16 Mississippi State Bulldogs
17 Oregon Ducks The ceiling is high still, even without Moore.
18 Wake Forest Demon Deacons This is easily my most overrated team, but they played a good game against a Miami team I love and then beat outright a very impressive Louisville program. I'm in
19 Wisconsin Badgers Actually this team is the most overrated team
20 USC Trojans They are throwing classic Lincoln Riley red flags but I still like Maivia and they kept it close against a team that might be bouncing back
21 Oklahoma State Cowboys Let's just pretend Tulsa didn't happen
22 UCLA Bruins This and OSU were some outside preseason hype teams that kinda have started to look the part
23 Kentucky Wildcats Fraud watch
24 Boise State Broncos Best WMU who beat Michigan, kept it close to Oregon
25 Arizona Wildcats I still think they're okay. I'm going to let them hold over Houston or SMU
