Overall Rationale: Once again things are still fucking up all kinds of ways. Note that everyone’s getting into conference play we’ll get a bit of a better view of things.

1 Texas Longhorns Gotta clean things up and stop shooting themselves in the foot
2 Ohio State Buckeyes Fine win over a flawed Illinois
3 Florida Gators Huge win, not many bigger than that at this point in the season.
4 Georgia Bulldogs Beat the brakes off a bad Oklahoma.
5 Miami Hurricanes CMU is nothing special. WF may be better than I’ve thought? Hard to say at this point. I’m leaning towards wake being chaotic
6 Ole Miss Rebels Surprisingly large loss. Either LSU fans are right and that was their superbowl or Florida is really good. Louisville dropping to Wake doesn’t help either. Though I do think Louisville is a high chaos team.
7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Purdue lol
8 Indiana Hoosiers 🤨 my patience is waning, while I don’t think northwestern will be bad this year but I expect a top tier team to handle them a bit easier than that
9 Alabama Crimson Tide Big win over SCar. Not much to critique, maybe the running game? Still unsure of how high to put this squad but MS St will be a great reference.
10 Texas Tech Red Raiders Shockingly close first half given how bad SHSU is this year but first half scores seem to be getting closer the past couple years so I may just need to adjust my expectations.
11 Utah Utes Very nice first half. Dominant running over a bad Iowa State. Pretty much what they needed to do, though nothing special.
12 Iowa Hawkeyes Great last second win over Michigan. Iowa seems to be putting themselves in place to be one of the best B1G teams this year. And they’ll need to be bc Ohio State is next.
13 BYU Cougars 😴
14 Cincinnati Bearcats Big win over a decent K State squad. Cincinnati is trying to become a different contender in the Big XII this year. Pretty rough stretch coming up so they’ll have to prove it.
15 UCLA Bruins 51 point win over conference foe? That’s a good look. Oregon coming up may be a season defining inflection point for the Bruins.
16 LSU Tigers Alexa, email the state department that there are nuclear weapons being built under Tiger stadium. Thank you.

I don’t know whether to think LSU is fine or not. Do we think McNeese will put up more of a fight than my Ags did this weekend?
17 Duke Blue Devils Defending ACC champions Duke just scored 60+ points (pay no attention to who it was). I do think the Blue Devils are a decent squad this year and deserve to be here more than some other teams.
18 Nebraska Cornhuskers 4-0, it’s not been pretty. But they’ve got Maryland next week that should be easy before getting tested vs Indiana.
19 Pittsburgh Panthers Speaking of teams getting here the ugly way, Pitt had ugly wins over UCF and Cuse before demolishing Bucknell this weekend. Not that demolishing Bucknell is particularly impressive. Speaking of, Bucknell - Georgetown coming up is going to be a trainwreck meaning must watch sicko tv.
20 Mississippi State Bulldogs Big win over Mizzou. Now they’ve got to really prove it vs Alabama. My ears may never recover if MS St can pull this.
21 North Dakota State Bison 😴
22 Virginia Tech Hokies That was a close match with a bad BC. Close one vs Maryland doesn’t look any better.
23 Houston Cougars Fine win over Ga So. TTU still isn’t a penalty at this point.
24 Oregon Ducks Big win over USC to get back. I hope Dante Moore isn’t hurt too badly that was terrible to see.
25 Tennessee Volunteers It really doesn’t change my vision of Tennessee that they lost. Frankly it should have been by more, but tu kept shooting themselves in the foot. OK St and Mizzou both got consideration along with a smattering of G6 schools but I kept Tennessee because they’re really what I thought they were which is a borderline top 25 squad.
