AJ_CC Ballot for 2026 Week 5

Overall Rationale: Florida went from unranked to top ten for me (like I said I don't belive in poll inertia at this stage of the season too much). That said they couldn't quite crack top 5 thanks in part to Ole Miss missing Lacy and Ole Miss' reumse also look a bit weaker courtesy of that Louisville loss.
Speaking of that Louisville loss, SMU dropped out of ranking in part because of that game looking worse and a pedestrian performance against a bad Georgia Southern team.
Was very impressed by West Virginia's win last week, and that Oklahoma State win this week was enough to justify to sizable increase in the rankings. Very impressive win from Oregon too over USC with their back up QB for most of the game. Those two and Ohio State are my top 1 loss teams.
Gave very high consideration towards Cincinnati for that last spot, but Nebraska just edged them out. That was a big over Kansas State, but Nebraska's win over Michigan State was just slightly more impressive. Nearing the point in the season where all undefeated power conference teams should probably be ranked but not quite there yet.

Next 5 in: Cincinnati, Tennessee, Wake Forrest, SMU, Pittsburgh
