4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish I have a tough time telling if either ND or Miami deserves their current rankings, I think both of them are pretty much locked in given their schedule
5 Miami Hurricanes One of the weakest 4 game stretches imaginable, but they’ve done their job
6 Indiana Hoosiers Things got a little too scary on Friday night, i’m not sure Hoover’s ceiling is high enough to deliver the Hoosiers a top 6 ranking come December
7 Alabama Crimson Tide Bama of old? The Crimson Tide are flying under the radar (in the media landscape).
8 Ole Miss Rebels Unfortunate showing in The Swamp, yet expected by vegas oddsmakers. We’re setting up quite the matchup on the 10/24 in Austin.
9 LSU Tigers Ended the Aggies season plain and simple.

11 Florida Gators Big showing against Ole Miss, setting up yet another must watch matchup in Austin on 10/17.
12 Texas Tech Red Raiders I just don’t think the Red Raiders have it this year, but it’s hard to punish a team that does their job
13 Utah Utes Not sure if this is an Utah team of old that fizzles out come November, but i’m ranking them as the present Utes.

15 Oregon Ducks Gutsy performance in the Colosseum.
16 Mississippi State Bulldogs Keep doing their jobs, i’m not fully bought in yet but the results speak for themselves
17 Tennessee Volunteers Absolutely destroyed by the Longhorns D-Line, but they kept fighting
18 Houston Cougars Another team that I don’t know what to make of
19 USC Trojans Completely on me for believing in Penn State West
20 SMU Mustangs Probably a bit too high, but i’m bullish on the Mustangs

22 Kentucky Wildcats Slowish first half, but dominated the second half

24 UCLA Bruins Obligatory ranking before they get dismantled by Oregon
