beerslingerjay 1 Did we see a chink in the armor for Bama? Could a 41-23 win over Colorado State be considered a lackluster performance? Regardless, Jalen Hurts looked pretty damn good, and if he's on (especially in the passing department), I can't see many teams beating them.

Bukowskified 1 Bama gets the nod for number 1 with one of the top wins so far over Florida State. Their schedule this season is shaping up to look fairly easy (for a national title contender), so undefeated should be the goal here.
BunnySelfDestruct 1 I don't know what to do about that Florida State victory, so hopefully we'll find out something this weekend about both Alabama and Florida State.

Our-Gardian-Angel 1 Alabama comfortably beat Colorado State to move to 3-0 heading into conference play. With the rest of the SEC is consumed by chaos, the Crimson Tide seem destined to win yet another conference title and earn another College Football Playoff berth. Save us, Dan Mullen, you're our only hope.

IAMAVelociraptorAMA 2 If I'm being perfectly honest, I'm not as impressed with Alabama this year as I should be.  Despite a solid showing against Florida State, the individual performances were relatively lackluster and they don't have that same unstoppable juggernaut feel to them.  Then again, it may just be a hangover from last year's Natty.  Regardless, Jalen hasn't shown to be as good as many hoped he was, but he seems serviceable enough to help Alabama go what looks to be another possible undefeated (regular) season with that stout defense.

SurpriseSalami 2 Still great, just not quite as great as Clemson thus far
T-Thugs 2 It's actually kinda hard to judge the Tide right now since their best win is over Florida State and FSU hasn't played a game since their loss to Alabama. I think that Florida State was a good team. I would have had a much better idea if FSU had played their Miami game this week. Alabama did beat Colorado State... We'll know more about them soon. They play a  a surprising Vanderbilt team next week.

runujhkj 3 plenty of time for them to return to form and eat up the rest of the westnot a great chance for them to lose a game in the regular season. maybe @Auburn, but that game's been pretty one-sided recently. maybe in Atlanta, but not likely. Alabama looking pretty much guaranteed to return to the playoff.

solo_22 3 Rankings are based on season's body of work and who I think would win if the two teams played this weekend. Alabama will probably go back up to number one, but Oklahoma and Clemson have looked scary the past two weeks.

WhiteBaseCoat 9 PLRCOAT: 3.5. Alabama is tied with the next three teams, so I put them first, because ohdearlord I haven't ranked Alabama yet and I can already feel everybody losing their minds about how terrible I am at this. I'm actually sort of impressed that Alabama still got such a high score considering that their marquee win is FSU, who is technically a 0-pointer. They've also beaten 1-pointer Colorado State and 0-pointer chump team Florida State. I guess three wins over crappy teams are enough to put you ahead of the pack right now. (no but really Alabama's stock should go way up once the Seminoles get back on the field).
