Overall Rationale: Big jump into poll by Mississippi State, looked very good versus LSU. USC dropped from 7 to 10 with near miss at home versus unranked Texas. Rest of top 10 stayed the same (so 8, 9, 10 moved up a spot). FSU has only one game so far, I'm not dropping them because of Irma. Kansas State, UCLA, and Stanford drop out due to upset losses. Tennessee sneaks in with a close game on road against Florida, as does Oregon with a good showing at Wyoming. Everyone else shuffled around a bit mostly based on conjecture. We'll see how the next few weeks play out before this gets serious.
