Overall Rationale: I built a computer rating system that takes mostly simple statistics that do include strength of schedule and margin of victory to create what I think is a pretty good general ranking. To avoid weird early season rankings, I added a "bias" score. This score starts with the AP preseason poll and uses it entirely in the first week, and less and less so as the season goes on. After week 6, the ranking no longer uses the bias. My system isn't perfect though, so I add my own "eye test" to the rankings is provides. I will never move a team more than 5 spots from where the computer ranks it, as any farther and I think it would be more my ranking than the computers
