TaylorLeprechaun Ballot for 2017 Week 4

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 17, 2017, 9:41 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Dropped Out: Stanford, Kansas StateDisclaimer: I only got to watch a handful of games since a) I was at UF-UT and my cable didn't come back until around 10 p.m. (thanks Irma).  So the only games I got to watch, outside of the one I attended, were: Q4 Clemson-Louisville, Q4 KSU-Vandy, Q4 USC-UT, and a few highlights online from Top 10 games.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide +0: Win over Colorado State
Clemson Tigers +1: Great win over Louisville, effectively shutting them down until garbage time.
USC Trojans -1: Had a hard time against an unranked Texas team that required 2 OT to beat.  Their defense also had a hard time stopping Texas towards the end of the game (all those conversions).  This in combination with Clemson's beat-down of Louisville had them flip spots.
Oklahoma Sooners +0: Win over Tulane.
Penn State Nittany Lions +0: Blanked Georgia State.
Washington Huskies +0: Big Win over Fresno State.
Oklahoma State Cowboys +2: Put up 49 points before halftime damn.
Ohio State Buckeyes -1: Got the win over Army West Point.  Dropped a spot because of how Oklahoma State beat the shit out of Pitt.
Michigan Wolverines +1: Got the win over Air Force.
Florida State Seminoles -2: Haven't played since the loss to Alabama and other teams seemed more deserving of higher spots.
Wisconsin Badgers +0: Got the win over BYU.
Georgia Bulldogs +2: Got the win over Samford.
Virginia Tech Hokies +2: Got the win over East Carolina.
Auburn Tigers +2: A little close against Mercer, but moves up due to losses ahead.
West Virginia Mountaineers +3: Sometimes I like to imagine how differently UF's 2015 (and maybe 2016) season would have gone had Grier not been suspended.
Utah Utes +5: Big movers this week thanks to a losses ahead of them (the two teams directly ahead of them both lost, another hasn't played since Week 1, and two other teams further ahead both lost as well).
Louisville Cardinals -4: Clemson really shut down their offense and they didn't seem to get going until garbage time.
Miami Hurricanes -1: Haven't played since their Week 1 win over Bethune-Cookman.
USF Bulls +3: Win over Illinois.
Mississippi State Bulldogs NR: Huge win over LSU vaults them up to 20th.
Florida Gators +2: Offense struggled for a while, but a win is a win, so they move up ever so slightly.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4oqIkXfi9o
LSU Tigers -10: Wow what a big loss.
Colorado Buffaloes +1: Got the win over Northern Colorado
Vanderbilt Commodores NR: Got the win over Kansas State and the defense looked really good down the stretch.
TCU Horned Frogs +0: Got the win over SMU.
