Overall Rationale: Non-conference play to me is about differentiating yourself from other teams and making sure you have everything together before conference play begins. The higher the rank the more I think the team has fulfilled this obligation. Vanderbilt and Maryland are going to be the outliers between my polls and others due to not including FSU and Miami. FSU lost their QB and we have not been able to see if they are going to be able to come back from that. Miami just haven't seen enough of.
