I think Alabama is more limited offensively than the teams above them. I think Alabama, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Missouri and Utah are a group of very strong teams who are just outside CFP contention

Kind of a whirlwind game-- a tail of two halves. Left with no doubt that Alabama was the better team, though. Somehow, they just keep winning. It is really something that they've kind of been written off and disregarded. They're 7-1. Watch out, folks. I don't want to see it, but it might just happen.

Alabama put some serious hurt on Tennessee in the second half. They look like a great Alabama team, and I wouldn't underestimate them. Well deserved top 10 placement.

Alabama gets a nice win over Tennessee, even if they were questionable for the first two quarters. Their game against LSU will be crucial if this wants any chance at the SEC championship and college football playoff.

Hey, I've seen this one before. Down by a touchdown at the half, turns it on in the second. Again. I guess when you have a great coach, you make good halftime adjustments. It took a minute for them to get there, but I do think this team is better than last year's.

Reasoning: Bama continues to pill up gritty wins against SEC opponents, moving into the top ten in my ranking. Don't look now, but it is looking like Bama will have a chance to dethrone the mighty Bulldogs to close the season in the SEC champ game. They just have to get past Kelly and a hot LSU offense first.

While it was still tight, they finally seemed to play a somewhat decent game.
