The OL is nowhere near as good as they used to be and the skill positions are “meh”. Alabama is going to lose at least 2 more games, maybe starting with Ole Miss this weekend.

I'm having them in here because it'd seem wrong not to, and because there aren't really any other obvious candidates (no, I'm not ranking Iowa or especially Florida, we all saw how that turned out for us after Utah last year), but yeesh. They're going to need to make big changes quickly or this could be the worst Alabama team since 2007.

throwaway_6786 24 The only reason this team hasn't dropped out of the rankings is their 11-2 2022 record. That's it. This team lacks a solid QB and as a result, seems to lack an identity on offense. The defense still looks alright, but 'alright' isn't going to keep them in the Top 25 for long (and if Texas struggles again, that alone might be enough to drop the Tide without any significant wins to make up for the Texas loss).
