samuelbassett Ballot for 2023 Week 4

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 18, 2023, 5:25 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs
Florida State Seminoles
Texas Longhorns
Ohio State Buckeyes
Michigan Wolverines
Washington Huskies
Penn State Nittany Lions
Alabama Crimson Tide
Oregon State Beavers Still thinking they'll end up 2nd in the P12, behind Washington.
Utah Utes Will be a letdown game against USC after USC/ND; should finish 3rd in P12
USC Trojans Excellent talent but defensive holes and consistency issues loom over SC
Oklahoma Sooners Best of the rest in the B12. Will score points against Texas this year; will end up 2nd as the XII falls apart on the field
North Carolina Tar Heels Solid team, but ACC schedule will limit their ranking and clout. Likely drops a random game to end up as the lowest ranked P5 in a NY6 bowl.
Oregon Ducks Good, but there's a logjam of good teams in the P12. Brutal schedule hurts the Ducks
Ole Miss Rebels Could win the SEC West, but will likely lose at BDS then run the table.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Overrated as always, but still a good squad. Expecting decisive losses to an OSU and USC.
UCLA Bruins Good, but going to take some lumps in the next few weeks. Should dominate their bowl and be one of the best 4-loss teams in the country
Tennessee Volunteers
Colorado Buffaloes This has been a fun ride. Hunter's injuries come at the worst time. Colorado gets blasted by Oregon and USC, but figure things out with a full roster to be competitive against UCLA and Oregon State.
Fresno State Bulldogs Will continue to slowly climb the rankings. No real challenges on the schedule means they might end up undefeated and still outside of a NY6 Bowl.
Appalachian State Mountaineers Second best team in the Carolinas, and should cruise to a spot in the SBC championship.
Kansas Jayhawks Very well coached with an increasing talent base. Will scare OUT, but be the best of the hateful eight.
Missouri Tigers A favorable schedule has them competing for second place in the SEC East
West Virginia Mountaineers Only loss to PSU, good squad overall
Tulane Green Wave Favorable schedule should lead to an AAC championship. Only loss to a good Mississippi.
