PrimalCookie 13 I am fully on board the Miami train. The A&M win is still impressive, the Lesser Miami win is more impressive now that they beat Cincy, and they took care of business as expected vs Bethune-Cookman. @ Temple might be a trap game before the Canes open ACC play.

GatorBolt 20 I'm still not quite sure on Miami this year, but they've definitely taken some strides in Mario year 2. Just trepid to rank them higher until we find out if their win against TAMU says more about the Aggies or the Canes.

JetoGrov 6 I probably (read: definitely) overvalue TxA&M, and thus overvalue the win over them...but I don't know, I had high hopes for the Aggies this year and watched the entirety of their game with Miami...and whew, the way the Canes handled them...I'm keeping them Top 10

Tornadohunter24 18 Results so far: 38-3 vs Miami (OH), 48-33 vs Texas A&M, 48-7 vs Bethune-Cookman | Following their takedown of the Aggies from College Station, Texas, Miami played FCS and HBCU Bethune-Cookman and predictably won without much of a fight. In games like this, there’s not much to take away from it, though the confidence that the Hurricanes possessed in their first couple of weeks hasn’t been seen since Mark Richt was at the helm. While they’re not necessarily able to contend with the top of the ACC and may end up falling short of a NY6 bowl, second-year HC Mario Cristobal has to be thrilled with how quickly Miami has recovered from a disastrous 5-7 year in 2022. Miami travels north to old Big East opponent Temple this weekend.

throwaway_6786 22 A bit of a bold pick here, but Miami has looked fantastic on offense so far in 2023, which was one of their biggest knocks last year. Their 5-7 2022 record still concerns me, but if Texas A&M continues to play well against tougher competition and Miami can improve on defense, this team could rise quickly as their 2022 influence fades from the rankings.
