owl_man 9 Tyler Van Dyke and Mario Cristobal make Miami strong NY6 contenders and even my favorite to win the ACC this season. Which of course means that Coastal Chaos will strike and this prediction will look insane.

eclectic_tastes 15 With a promising QB, a high talent composite rating, and a good head coach there is a lot of reason for optimism. Still, it is only Cristobal's year one, and he didn't raid the best of the transfer portal to the degree Riley did. There is a range of possible finishes for Miami this season, but their ceiling is intriguing.

bretticus33 18 Miami is a wild-card in the ACC. They have a lot of talent and potential, but they've underperformed for what they have. Mario Cristobal is now the HC, but I'm not sold on him as a coach (although nobody can deny his recruiting ability).

SpadeRyker 25 Miami rounds out the top 25 on the back of QB TVD who promises to be a special talent if his limited playing time last year was any indication. His weapons are limited with questions at WR and his OL isn't expected to be anything too special. If the offense wants to run, it needs TVD to carry it and bring out every drop of talent on that roster. On the other side, the defense has been a mess and that needs to change if Miami is going to take control of the Coastal division and especially if they want to finally win the conference. A new HC might change things for the better, but Cristobal has struggled to utilize the talent he gets to its potential before. I think fringe top 25 is a good spot for Miami before we learn more about who they are this year.

RaceScottRace 18 Of all the big-time programs looking to turn their luck around, Miami is the one I actually buy stock in. They've got a lot of talent. The FPI loves them. Mario is a U guy that understands the culture and what it takes to win there. I can easily see them having a top 25 team in year one.

mcguffinman 19 Miami has been recruiting well even under Manny Diaz, Diaz just sucked at coaching, King couldn't stay healthy, and well yeah Manny Diaz sucks. Under Cristobal, while he has a tendency to never have a full season at full capacity, I do believe Miami will be extremely forgiving to him with a weak Coastal and only having to play Clemson from the 3 D's of the Atlantic.

donald_flap 22 Mario Cristobal is hoped to make a big impact on Miami, and I believe that he will. Tyler Van Dyke is too good alone to not be ranked, and the team as a whole has benefitted greatly from NIL.
