Dawg-Bite Ballot for 2022 Preseason

Ballot Type: Human

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs Defending champion is always #1 to start the season in my rankings until they lose or another team is UNDENIABLY better after 2 or 3 games.
Ohio State Buckeyes OSU should have the best offense this season. Jim Knowles will also improve the defense significantly.
Alabama Crimson Tide 2 heisman candidates. Top 10 offense. Top 10 defense. Nick Saban. Name starts with ALA and ends with BAMA.
Utah Utes
Michigan Wolverines
Texas A&M Aggies
Clemson Tigers
Miami Hurricanes 71% of production returning, a new good HC, one of the most talented teams in the country. Definitely a playoff dark horse.
USC Trojans I can’t find more than 1 loss on their schedule despite the possibility of having a bad defense this season. They’re just too talented to lose more than 2 games IMO
Arkansas Razorbacks WOO PIG
NC State Wolfpack
Baylor Bears
Oklahoma Sooners
Cincinnati Bearcats
Notre Dame Fighting Irish I feel like a new QB coupled with other production losses and a coach in his first full year as HC may not be the recipe for a top 10 team. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong.
Tennessee Volunteers One of the best offenses in the country and a defense that I feel will be improved from last year. If they didn’t have to play Bama and UGA they’d 100% be higher in the rankings.
Kentucky Wildcats
Michigan State Spartans
Penn State Nittany Lions
Minnesota Golden Gophers Mo Ibrahim is a beast of a RB who I think will provide a necessary spark to the Minnesota offense that didn’t have him after injury last year. Plus their defense will likely be solid as always.
Houston Cougars
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Oregon Ducks
UCLA Bruins Same situation as USC. I can’t find no more than 2 to 3 losses on their schedule. They got Oregon, USC, and Utah, but I feel they might upset one of them.
North Carolina Tar Heels
