Charlemagne42 10 Pitt has their luckiest schedule in a long time. They miss Clemson, they'll catch their stronger opponents right after they play more intimidating foes, and even their two P5 OOC games will look really good at the start of the season. But, they'll drop a couple of inexplicable games and have to settle for a second-tier bowl.

noahthearc 13 124.0 points -> NY6 Favorite. As the highest rated team in a P5 conference and thus the favorite to win the conference, Pitt gets the moniker of NY6 Favorite. If Slovis is for real, Pitt may have a great team again this year.

SpadeRyker 15 They've lost both Pickett and Addison alongside their OC. That's a really harsh blow to the reigning ACC champions, but the team is still swimming in returning talent which should make them a contender yet again with a wide open ACC Coastal division. Their biggest challengers have gotten stronger but if they can make full use of their defense and reload quickly on offense, they should still be the division favorites.

nw____ 16 Admittedly, I may be over-ranking Pitt due to placing too much importance what they did last season. It will be interesting to see what they do on offense given the losses of Pickett, Whipple, and Addison. This is another team I really don't know what to do with. If I had to guess, I'd say they finish the season ranked lower than this, but my uncertainty stopped me from going too crazy with their ranking.

owl_man 17 Yes yes Kenny Pickett is gone. Yes yes I think Pat Narduzzi is an over-rated man-child that whines to much. Yes I hate Pitt. Eat Shit Pitt. But, I think they'll surprise quite a few...

RheagarTargaryen 17 Losing Pickett is a huge blow for Pitt, but they’re still returning 15 starters (most in the coastal) and I expect the defense to be on par with last year.

MrTheSpork 19 Great season and a solid chunk returns; not dominant; lost OC; okay recruiting. It's hard to see Pitt improving with both Whipple and QB Pickett gone, but if they've got a solution at QB the rest of the roster should fall in line.

woakley 23 Pitt lost their QB and WR, so it's possible they can't replicate last years run. But I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. Even with losing this production, they're still top 30 in returning production

dusklord1 17 Pitt is almost certainly the favorite for the ACC Coastal title. I don't trust Miami and the rest of the division will be not great. Unfortunately for them, all of their toughest conference games are on the road, which might impede their ability to be the first (and only, now that divisions are getting scrapped) back to back Coastal winner.
