Overall Rationale: Just how I'm feeling about who the top teams are heading into the season. The top 4 represents my CFP picks. No surprises or shocks in them, bold I know.

|
Undoubtedly the best team heading into the season. |

Ohio State Buckeyes
|
If the defensive issues have been solved, OSU should be better than every team except Alabama. |

Georgia Bulldogs
|
They lost a lot of defense but recruit so well that they should still be a top 4 team. |

Clemson Tigers
|
I'll be shocked if Clemson goes 2 years in a row without winning the ACC. If their offense is even just a little bit better, they should be back in the CFP. |

Michigan Wolverines
|
I don't necessarily think Michigan will be as good this year as they were last year but they could still go 11-1. OSU is the only singular game I'm predicting them to lose but there is always the chance they could get Kinnick'd. |
