eclectic_tastes 1 These top-3 teams for me have been in every possible order for me at different points in the off-season, but as it gets closer to games actually being played, I am sticking with the team with the best QB in the country and the most proven edge-rusher.

kamiller2020 1 The fact this team got so close to a national championship is a testament to the culture and talent level that Alabama has is significantly better than anybody else's. With how many young players got significant time; this could be the scariest team on paper Saban's ever had. Bryce Young is legit, and with him are some of the best options on the transfer portal. Jermaine Burton and Tyler Harrell are going to have a big role on the offense, and Jahmyr Gibbs is in the conversation for best running back in college football. On defense, Will Anderson is the best defensive player in the country and with him are a ton of talented players. When Eli Ricks might not even start at CB this year, it shows you how good their secondary is and that same statement can be made along the defense. There are some concerns about the OLine, but overall you're not going to find a more balanced team in college football than the Tide with their talent level.

jthomas694 1 National runner up, might have been able to win the national championship had Metchie and Williams. Probably have the best EDGE rusher combo in college football and add Eli Ricks to the defensive backfield. Best group they've had defensively in a few years. Young is an incredible QB

donald_flap 2 It’s Alabama, what more can you possibly say. They were number 1 for me until I thought deeper, but they could easily switch with Ohio State. They have the best players in the nation, with Bryce Young on offense and Will Anderson on Defense. This team is downright frightening in every way. Nick Saban is too good of a coach to waste all of this talent, and they will most absolutely crush every team in their way.
