Though they have inconsistent play styles, losing to the #3 team in the nation by a touchdown and getting massive wins vs other decent teams is gonna send you up a couple ranks. As much as I hate to say it, Texas deserves the top 20 spot I have them in. |

They did beat UTSA, while also losing to Texas Tech and Oklahoma St. Via the head to head, it tends to only make up 1 game loss difference, but Texas also has played 2 top 10 teams, only losing by 1 score in each, easily outplaying Alabama for majority of the game and truly lost to their QB being knocked out of the game and a few questionable ref calls. They played a much tougher schedule than UTSA, so they keep the nod. |
