I know i am way higher on the Huskies than others, but to me they are a dominant offensive football team after one year under Deboer. The loss against Arizona St is why they're not a playoff team right now, but they're playing world's better than they were then.

Up 8 - good road win and many teams above played awful

One of my biggest risers. Of all the 2-loss teams that could go here, I kinda looked at Washington and said yeah, you know what? They've looked hot down the stretch, and I legitimately believe the Pac-12 was the deepest conference in the country this year. Argue with ya momma. I'm a Georgia alum and I love the SEC, but the Pac-12 this year was SOLID, dude. They sit behind UCLA because of the head-to-head result, but these are teams I consider relatively level. Sure, Washington beat Oregon and UCLA didn't, but UCLA beat Washington and Washington avoided USC and Utah.

You can't leave a top ten, 10-win Washington out of the NY6 right?

Washington over Alabama wouldn’t be crazy — their wins are better — but it’s close enough that losing to Arizona State is an anchor.

Neat recovery late in season and head to heads net you here. Almost dropped you off the deep end by accident.

Last Week #11 at Washington State Won 51-33. I personally think that Penix Jr has played his way to being the best overall QB in the FBS this season, and Washington is rolling right now because of it. If USC does make the CFP, then Washington should represent the PAC 12 vs Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, and what a QB battle that would be.

Washington has wins over Oregon and Oregon State who are ranked, but are behind Penn State because of a terrible ASU loss and I’m just not as confident in the Washington defense. Also (and I can’t believe I’m saying this because I sound like a damn committee member) they don’t control games as well as Penn State. Washington usually just goes toe to toe with their opponents instead of dominating like Penn State does.

Beat two ranked teams and lost close to another. They have the second best record in the PAC12 and only didn't play in the Championship game because the tiebreaker rules for the PAC12 deemed Utah the winner (they were assigned to play Cal and Utah got USC instead).
