atchemey 7 They showed how strong they were against a lackluster Rutgers. They are a favorite to win the PAC North for a good reason, and I expect good things to follow.

swodaem2005 8 Washington appears to be what they were billed as coming into the season - dynamic, athletic, and stingy.  Another win that could be viewed as better or worse depending upon how horrible Rutgers proves themselves to be this year - but as of now I'm feeling convinced.

swanky-k 9 Good win against Rutgers.  The Pac-12 is weird this year, I'm not really sold on anybody yet aside from maybe Stanford, but I guess UW seems solid right now.
T-Thugs 9 Rugers stinks but Washington won big and that is a power 5 opponent. With a lack of other impressive wins, that puts Washington top 10 in my poll for now.

TheFlyingBoat 9 They beat Rutgers convincingly. How they fare against real competition is yet to be seen, though I have seen enough to get on the train for now. Still a bit apprehensive though.

SenorPuff 11 I don't think Washington will really be this high come the end of the season. As I said earlier I didn't think the Pac would even have a team without two losses. Washington Stanford is going to be a good game. That all said: Washington has to beat Oregon before I can take them seriously as a Pac 12 contender, let alone a national contender. They're definitely due for it.

MrTheSpork 13 Like Stanford, the opponent's quality is still in question. Unlike Kansas State, Rutgers is either mediocre or bad. I gave Louisville the edge mainly due to the overwhelming offensive output, but really 11-12-13 could be any order.

hokies220 14 I had to remind myself that Rutgers is in fact a P5 team. Washington did what they were supposed to and utterly dominated a much inferior team. We really won't know exactly how good this team is until week 4-6.
monkeymatt1836 14 The Huskies came out swinging in their season debut and never let Rutgers get into the game. The Huskies looked good in all 3 phases. The offense put up 4 TDs, and the Huskies had a pair of TDs on a KR and PR, respectively. The Huskies should continue looking good against Idaho next week. Chris Peterson has this team believing in themselves.
