Gary Patterson will likely be able to fix their defensive issues going forwards, and this game showed they are unlikely to see incredibly significant weakening on the offensive front. Then again the Kenny Trill hype train died after a record-breaking first game last time. So perhaps we shouldn't speak too soon.

monkeymatt1836	15	The way the Horned Frogs defense played against FCS South Dakota State I would expect them to be in some fun shootouts in the Big 12 this year. QB Kenny Trill made his TCU debut and had a good night, going 33/49 for 439 yards, 2 TDs, and 2 INTs. The offense put up 662 yards and 59 points as a whole. The defense however, gave up 461 yards and 41 points. If TCU can tighten up their defense before conference play, they could make a run at the Big 12 title.

CockADoodleBOOM	19	This was a bigger drop than I wanted. TCU wasn't very good against South Dakota State, but probably not "four spot drop" not very good. Them and Georgia are interchangeable in my mind. (btw: Georgia is 3-0 all-time against TCU, with the last meeting taking place in 1988. Thanks, Winsipedia!
