swanky-k 4 Stanford's field looks really good on TV, especially with their classic jerseys.  I really enjoyed watching their game, and not many top teams took care of business like the Cardinal did.
TheFlyingBoat 4 They hold at 4 after grinding out a solid victory over a well-coached KState side.

atchemey 5 See Clemson, but with slightly less talent at QB. McCaffery is the best APB in the NCAA, and I love to watch him play.

G-manP 5 Stanford could've easily jumped Michigan this week, but they didn't put K-State away like we thought they would. They'll have two weeks to polish up for an SC team with a chip.

monkeymatt1836 5 Stanford put on a good performance against an always solid Kansas State team. Senior QB Ryan Burns had a very nice debut going 14/18 for 156 yards and 1 TD. Star RB Christian McCaffrey had an ok night with 22 carries for 126 yards and a pair of TDs. He didn't break the 100 yard mark until late in the 4th quarter with a 41 yard TD run to seal the game. Stanford's defense looked good, only giving up a TD and a pair of FGs. Very solid win for the Cardinal in their debut.

BugsSuck 6 Stanford is always good and Christian is just on another level, but they weren't as dominant as I would have liked. Granted, Kansas State wasn't and isn't a bad team, but I still had higher expectations and felt like I didn't get my fix of Stanford football.

MrTheSpork 7 I'm undecided on Kansas State which means that game could be either a solid win or an unexpectedly close matchup. Right now, there's some benefit of the doubt coupled with McCaffrey being himself, so it'll be a week or two before we have an idea.

SenorPuff 7 Stanford was way more dominant vs Kansas State than I was expecting. I wasn't expecting, at the beginning of the season, for a Pac team to have less than 2 losses. But if Stanford can play that way all year they'll finish the season undefeated.
sunburn_on_the_brain 7
swodaem2005 7 Stanford wasn't dominant, but not awful against Kansas State.  This performance may be retroactively ranked better or worse based on how K-State performs, but as of now Stanford holds firm.

hokies220 13 Questionable non-calls or not it's still likely that Stanford would've won the game against KSU. McCaffrey got bottled up a bit, but still busted a good TD run to seal it, and had the ridiculous return that got called back. Need to see if the offense can develop more outside of just #5. Although if not it doesn't seem to be too big of a deal.
