Charlemagne42 12 Sends Indiana into a late-season tailspin, and jumps briefly into playoff at-large range before Oregon pulls them down to earth. Started 7-0 though, so clearly something's working.

Doogitywoogity 13 I’m probably a bit high on the huskies but I have a hard time putting others above them. I like what Fisch is building out here. A pretty manageable schedule up until the last two games against Indiana and Oregon. Not to say Iowa, USC, and Penn State will be easy, just manageable.

Justanother_0 14 I expect Washington to step firmly into the second tier of B1G teams, thanks to their QB deciding (read: being forced) to return, any team playing the Huskies will have to be on the lookout for this squad.

ikindalikelemons 16 Even I'm sick of hearing me talk about QBs, but Demond Williams is an elevator. I think Fisch is making the right moves progressing the program in the wake of DeBoer leaving too.

TheUltimate721 16 Washington has to be careful, they face a dangerous conference schedule with USC, Indiana, Iowa and Oregon, but they've got to travel on the road to Sparty in November and Nebraska in a blackout, neither of which will be easy environments. Hell, they shouldn't overlook their conference opener with Minnesota either. Returning Demond Williams after the transfer scare should be a reason for optimism, but Denzel Boston is in Cleveland now. If things get ugly for the Huskies, they could wind up missing a bowl altogether.

lowes18 18 Washington is potentially one of the most volatile teams coming into 2026. Starting on the offensive line, the loss of Azzopardi is significant, however his replacement is incoming 5* Kodi Greene who looks ready to take the reigns as a freshman. If he hits in addition to all of the known commodities, Washington will have a good line to protect one of the best QBs in college football in Demond Williams. Washington's defense is built middle-out, there is good reason to be confident in their interior defensive line, safeties and linebackers, however their DE's and CB's are massive areas of concern that limit what this team could potentially be even if the offensive reaches its potential.

SufferingfOrLife 18 Reasons I like them: #15 in returning production; Demond Williams is back, talented linebacking core, offensive line continuity.

Reasons I dislike them: Unproven running back room after losing Coleman; lost offensive coordinator, and secondary is inexperienced.

Surprisingly Fisch didn't end up at Florida, though they almost lost their QB to LSU, prior to some litigation stopping it. The huskies must visit strong longtime PAC-12 opponents this year.
