Charlemagne42	1	It stung to lose the WLOCP, but great teams grow from failure. And oh boy, did Georgia grow. At season's end they had accumulated 3 wins over playoff teams and a fourth ranked win, plus a conference title. It was just enough to edge out Ohio State in the committee's eyes.

elnino550	6	It's hard to ever doubt this team and their coaching staff, they don't seem to have many star standout players but they have a lot of depth and an experienced QB who defines the culture that Kirby brings. Their biggest weakness will be at WR but they will still have an elite running game to account for that.

Talent-wise they’re at least as good as the Oregons, Ohio States and Notre Dames no question. Last year saw elite stretches of play from both sides of the ball but they came at separate times from each other. lowes18	11	Georgia has an elite secondary, but for me that's about where it ends in terms of units on this team that I know are championship caliber. They have plenty of young players that need to step up if they want to truly compete for a national title in 2026. Given that they largely return a team that 12-2 last year its hard for me to rank them any lower, but to me they are not in the tier where I can just write it in stone they will be competing for anything of significance in 2026. If their young talent does take a huge leap, and guys like Nate Frazier finally take that step to being nationally elite players, Georgia could be in the title mix for 2026.
