bretticus33 1 There’s a legit chance Georgia could 3-peat as CFP champions. For the second straight offseason a lot of talent was lost, but once again, thanks to outstanding recruiting, Georgia should be just fine. The schedule doesn’t test Georgia for most of the season, so anything less than a SEC championship appearance and a CFP appearance is a failure. While the attention will be on the new QB starting for Georgia, whether it’s Carson Beck or Brock Vandagriff or Gunner Stockton, the biggest concern to me is how the offense does with Mike Bobo calling plays. The last time we saw him in a coaching role was his CSU tenure that did not go well.

ikindalikelemons 1 If a program is coming off back-to-back titles, it's malpractice to drop them from #1. Yes, there's a new QB. However, Carson Beck's time has been three years in the making. It's his time. They won't be tested for awhile (same with Michigan), so if they drop without losing, it's only because other teams have compiled big wins in the meantime.

kamiller2020 1 This roster is STACKED. Beck will be fine and has shown decent stuff from his limited game tape. The WR core should be good with Dominic Lovett and RaRa Thomas being great weapons to complement Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers. The running game is a question mark, but the offensive line is so strong that no matter the RB with the ball the Dawgs should find success. Defensively they should be even better than last year. This is the best secondary Kirby has ever had and with talent up front and a strong linebacker core it's hard to see anybody but Georgia having the best defense in the country. This is a national championship-type roster and the only thing preventing a threepeat would be a weak running game or bad luck.

NyquillusDillwad20 1 This is the easiest preseason #1 pick in quite a few years. They feel like a near lock for the playoff unless QB play is really bad.
oghawks18 1 Easy schedule by Georgia standards, should cruise to 12-0.

fredmerc111 2 While they are back to back champs, there will be questions at QB seeing if Carson Beck can do what the Mailman did for Georgia. That paper soft schedule to start the year is DISGUSTING though.

ScaratheBear 1 The Dawgs sit atop the CFB world, and they look poised to stay there. The Dawgs possess the longest active winning streak (17) and are, of course, the 2 time defending National Champions. Sure, they lost 1st rounder Jalen Carter and legendary QB Stetson Bennett, but the team returns an absolute gluttony of talent everywhere and has an extremely soft schedule to warm new QB Carson Beck up.

throwaway_6786 1 Defending national champions always get preseason #1 the next year, in my opinion. Two-time defending national champions most certainly get preseason #1 the next year.
TinderForMidgets 1 UGA continues to reload over and over and over again. They lose a ton of talent to the NFL but they continue to have a ton of NFL talent coming in like last year. The Bulldogs have some top recruits vying to replace Heisman finalist Stetson Bennett but are stacked all around. They are the team to beat.

IDropFatLogs 3 I think I might be over rating the Dawgs but I think they might have an ok roster.
JetoGrov 3 If you believe that pre-season rankings should reflect the overall trajectory of a program mixed with results from prior years, then yeah UGA is the obvious number 1 in the country. But in my predictive rankings, I don't think they're able to three-peat. 1) Because doing so is very hard 2) I don't want to pick it....they probably waltz through their joke of a schedule and won't face any real challenges until December though (which may be their undoing).
