bretticus733 1 After looking immortal the first few weeks of the season, Georgia is suddenly looking a lot more mortal. The defense is showing more leaks, the running game is struggling, and it all culminated in a near upset on the road at Missouri. I still think UGA is the best team in the country, but they have to start playing like it against rival Auburn.

The_Horse_Joke 1 Georgia has the best win. Yes they had closer games to a MAC and Mizzu team than they should have, but that's just a couple of bumps in the road. I fully expect them go to 12-0.

that may be the single best win any team has this year. I gave the nod to Clemson over them because Clemson has multiple big wins to Georgia's one.

Like seriously, they go from allowing 10 points in 3 games including a 49-3 win over Oregon to allowing 22 in back to back games against Kent State and Missouri, the latter of which they were down double digits in the 4th quarter to. That Oregon win is huge though, one of the best in the country at the moment if not the best, and it keeps them up near the top of the rankings. If they struggle at home against Auburn, I will have no idea what to think about them.

JBonkies 3 I said I kind of grouped 4-7 together, and that is true for 1-3 as well. It was hard not putting Georgia at 1 but these past two weeks have been a little worrisome. They are a top tier team still and I could see any argument for them to be 1 through 3.

1Subject 17 +7 Maybe the computer thinks Georgia lost that Missouri game. Even if that were the case, it's odd that they are ranked so low given that Oregon is ahead of them right now in the metric. They could have fallen into the trap of beating Oregon by so much it was like a fluke in the computer's eyes.
