RJEP22 Ballot for 2022 Week 6

Ballot Type: Hybrid

Submitted: Oct. 3, 2022, 1:10 p.m.

Overall Rationale: My poll functions as points standings rather than power rankings, awarding opponent adjusted points for each win based on the Massey Ranking Composite. 8 of the top 10 teams are all consensus contenders at this point in the season, and then there is Kansas and Syracuse at #3 and #10. Neither have an elite win under their belts, but this is what happens when you consistantly beat respectable teams. They will both have their shot at a top team soon, and will either sink or swim. There is also a million 4-1 teams at the moment, and only so many spots in the top 25. It will all shake out in due time.

Rank Team Reason
