The_Horse_Joke 20 The more and more time goes on, the more and more forgivable that Florida loss was. I think I combined the excuse of Utah losing with the idea that Florida might actually be a powerhouse, and when the latter was untrue I assumed so was the former. Utah has a road game (neutral site game?) against one of the teams in my top 12 and then hosts a team in my top 10. It's basically put up or shut up time for the Utes

Due_Connection179 11 Absolutely dominated a good Oregon State team from start-to-finish. Slowly but surely Utah is putting that Florida loss behind them. They still need help to jump back into the CFP conversation, but they do have USC in two weeks as well as knowing that Alabama/Tennessee/Ole Miss & Ohio State/Michigan/Penn State all play each other. So as long as Utah finishes this season strong, they should be ending at worst in the top 6. Next week: at #18 UCLA

JBonkies 17 Week 1 is hard, just look at Oregon. Utah had to travel across the country and play in the swamp. Still played Florida close and I believe this is the best 1 loss team in the country right now. Oregon State is a good team and they dismantled them.
