I think they did what they needed to, though--i.e., survive until Rising can come back. I will likely move them up if he looks anything like I expect he will.

texas2089	15	*Insert SpongeBob whew meme.* The Utes, playing their second straight game without starting QB Cam Rising escaped Waco with a 20-13 win as Sawyer Robertson's pass fell to the turf on the final play of the game. The Utes got away with a pretty clear DPI on the play as well. Utah trailed for almost the entire game, but scored the game's final 17 points, including 2 TDs in the final 2 minutes to steal one on the road. It was ugly, but a win is a win. Neither QB was ever able to really get going, and Rising's presence was severely missed. Hopefully he can return before Utah opens Pac-12 play in 2 weeks.

Tornadohunter24	14	Coach Kyle Whittingham will be thanking his lucky stars that there was enough time left on the clock for backup QB Nate Johnson to take over for an ineffective Barnes and power the Utes to a last-minute victory (DPI call on the final play not whistled, after a dreary showing from the refs in general) at Baylor. In general, it was not a reassuring win, and Utah will be looking forward to having their star QB Cam Rising return to the fold, even without trusted RB Micah Bernard for the rest of the year. After two P5 openers, Utah has a brief reprieve against FCS Weber State before immediately hopping into their PAC-12 gauntlet against UCLA in Week 4. The Utes will be looking to reacquire that potent offense and stout defense which led them to back-to-back championships in the coming weeks.

throwaway_6786	15	That was really shaky from the Utes, but they did at least manage to win. They drop 5 spots, but this could've been so much worse. Credit to Whittingham and the staff to recognize that Johnson was the QB to get the win late in the game and gave him the full reigns. Still, Utah is on thin ice after this, and if Florida gets crushed by Tennessee, that will make the ice even thinner.
