Utah Utes

| crownebeach | 7 | I don't really think much less of Utah than I did before. Overall, Utah's starters can run with anybody in the country and Rising is impossible to scheme against -- but he makes some unforced errors, and their depth or lack thereof makes me nervous. I rate Billy Napier and Florida both quite highly so no drop in a loss. The one thing that gives me pause is the linebackers -- they looked slow and easily confused by UF's run game. |

| DylanCarlson3 | 12 | Utah went into a crazy road environment on the opposite side of the country, played them down to the wire and had a chance to win in the final seconds. That final turnover was brutal, but I feel confident about Utah being roughly as good as a top-10 team when factoring in location, it being the first game of the season, etc. |
| eclectic_tastes | 12 | VERY close to getting the win in game 1. I liked a lot of what I saw, but I'm a bit skeptical about Rising and would like to see more. |

| IceColdDrPepper_Here | 16 | Certainly not the start the Utes had hoped for, but they played a good game and still had a chance to win at the end (or at least force OT). The Swamp is one of the hardest places to play in the country and Florida showed us they were better than we expected. Utah should bounce back but keep an eye on them. |

| Our-Gardian-Angel | 16 | Week 1: Florida 29, Utah 26 Record: 0-1 Utah went into a tough environment and narrowly lost to a Florida team that might prove to be better than expected. Honestly part of me thinks dropping them 9 spots is overly harsh, but it has more to do with what the teams ahead of them did rather than dinging the Utes for a close defeat in The Swamp. I also think it wouldn't have been wrong to rank them ahead of Florida still — Vegas traditionally gives 3 points in homefield advantage and Utah lost by 3 on the road — but I'll give the Gators the nod for now. |

| Beck4ou | 12 | Down from #5. Despite the loss it was a good performance from the Utes in a difficult place to win. They failed to record a sack, while not giving up one themselves, and couldn't contain Richardson's running ability, but they held the Gator's pass game in check for the most part, they could still run the table in the West but only time will tell. |

I don's see a scare until October. They have the talent and they have shown they can adjust. It's still there for them, just the others are better. |

| Jaymoney00 | 14 | This is probably too cruel. Again who knows how good Florida actually is. Anthony Richardson at least looks like the NFL prospect that he is. I have some sympathy as you had to play in a tough road environment anyway. A reminder that they were only favored by like 2.5 in pregame. |
