Temporary-Profit-643 Ballot for 2022 Week 2

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 6, 2022, 10:42 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Georgia looked the part of the best team in the nation, utterly destroying a fairly good Oregon. It's more Georgia doing something greater than Alabama doing something bad. Notre Dame's defense is fantastic, while their offense needs to find their rhythmtheyll stay in almost any game. Similar for Clemson, but their offense was fairly bad in the first half. They need to find their rhythm quickly. Against a better team, they might not have a chance. Still good, but room for improvement. Florida is a huge riser, their win over Utah looks like it wasn't just a fluke,, and Anthony Richardson was amazing. They might have what it takes to Score more against Georgia than anyone else this whole regular season. Quite impressed. Kedon Slovis looked phenomenal against West Virginia, and the Pitt offense proved me wrong in thinking that losing Kenny Pickett and Addison that they'd take a nosedive in production. Michigan St. and Houston could be switched, they are both really good, but Houston definitely struggled against a good UTSA (that ranks somewhere in my 26-30 right now). I'm still not sold on Texas A&M. They struggled in the first half against an FCS opponent, and while their defense seems quite good, their offense struggled mightily to score in the first half while I watched the game. Each grueling score, where they were manhandled by an FCS opponent. Sam Houston failed to score, of course, but that's not saying much for a supposed top 10 teams offense when it was only 10-0 until 1:16 to go in the first half. USC and Miami seem like they can show up to games, Florida St. Impressed me, and sir at my 26. LSU showed flashes of brilliance in the last 5 minutes of the game, but we can't forget that it was only that close due to a mistake. No pitch and fumble, and FSU likely wins be 10-14. Oregon got utterly manhandled. I debated keeping them in, but I feel they still have many pieces that can and will work well if they get oiled up and running. Utah did lose, but still look like a top 10-15 team. Arkansas over a good Cincinnati team was a fun game that wasn't fully put away until near the last drive, and Arkansas looked the part. If only Cincinnati could have kept their player's helmets on, maybe some key players would have stayed in and they might have actually won the game. It was utterly ridiculous. Everyone else is about the same, a few trivial flips or drops. NC State barely hung on to win. By ECU'S mishaps. They are 27 right now.
