Ballot Type: Human

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs It was very close between 1 and 2 for me, but from the data we have so far this year, UGA has the more impressive record than Alabama.
Alabama Crimson Tide They looked impressive against Utah State, and I'm excited for this weeks match-up to see how they hold up against P5 talent.
Ohio State Buckeyes My doubts about Stroud's consistency weren't helped on Saturday, but with our run blocking and defense looking great, this team has a VERY high ceiling if the offense can hit its stride.
Oklahoma Sooners An impressive performance against a solid opponent. Dillon Gabriel assuaged some of my worries. OU looks pretty tough.
Florida Gators One of the best wins of the season so far, and Anthony Richardson is looking great.
Michigan Wolverines It's going to be a while before we can see how good they can really be, but no complaints yet.
USC Trojans Great start.
Clemson Tigers One of two teams that would be a lot higher with a QB change.
Texas Longhorns I thought Ewers looked great after he got warmed up. His effortless arm strength still has me drooling over what he could become. Bijan looked great as always.
Arkansas Razorbacks Great win and Jefferson is living up to the hype so far.
Texas A&M Aggies Disappointing game 1. D-line didn't dominate like expected, o-line continued to struggle, and I wasn't overly impressed with King, though he shined at times.
Utah Utes VERY close to getting the win in game 1. I liked a lot of what I saw, but I'm a bit skeptical about Rising and would like to see more.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish I like the energy Freeman is bringing to ND and I think that the offensive struggles had a lot more to do with OSU than ND.
Wisconsin Badgers Need to see them play someone better.
Miami Hurricanes Need to see them play someone better.
Tennessee Volunteers Very exciting possibilities on the horizon for UT this year. Dominant performance.
Penn State Nittany Lions One of two teams that would be a lot higher with a QB change.
Baylor Bears Need to see them play someone better.
Florida State Seminoles Jordan Travis impressed the Hell out of me and is the reason they are ranked where they are.
UCLA Bruins Need to see them play someone better.
Houston Cougars Good tough win against MEEP
Oregon State Beavers Off to a great start. I think they could contend for a conference title.
Cincinnati Bearcats Close loss to a good team. Need to execute in the red zone. Still my pick to win the AAC.
Ole Miss Rebels Disappointing performance out of Dart, but Evans was looking good. Looks to be a more balanced Mississippi team this season, but a lot of room for improvement.
UCF Knights Great week 1 performance and positioning themselves as an AAC contender. Still, need to see them play someone better.
