Overall Rationale: Early rankings are hard. I value big wins and talent/expectations roughly equally at this point. As a result, teams thought to be weaker and played and beat tough competition may shoot up in the rankings. This is correct itself as all teams start playing stronger competition. i.e. Georgia and Ohio State both had very impressive wins so they leapfrog Bama. That may change depending how well Bama plays Texas.
