70stang 3 Colorado is 2-0 having beaten 2 P5 teams, one home and one away. They are ranked over Utah here due to human adjustment, as I think the teams Colorado beat and the way in which they beat them shines a little brighter for CU than for the Utes.

T-Thugs 6 The Buffs dominated a hapless Nebraska (0-2) team this weekend to move to 2-0. CU also has a nice win on the road over TCU.

HHcougar 8 CU is going bowling. I never doubted they're win 3-4 games, but I didn't expect them to be looking like a Pac12 champion contender.

PrimalCookie 15 Yeah, I’ll admit it. I was a doubter preseason and I was still a doubter after week 1. “It’s just a fluke” I said, like an idiot. I’m bought in now. Two P5 games, two wins. Colorado looks damn good, and despite the tough schedule the rest of the way I’m confident they can at least make a bowl, if not more.

texas2089 21 This Colorado team is really tough to rank for me. On one hand, they have 2 big non-conference wins, but on the other hand how good are the teams that they actually beat? Nebraska handed the Buffs fumbles like he was Oprah. Most of those fumbles were self inflicted, not forced by Colorado's defense. An equally bad interception thrown directly to a Buff's defender by Jeff Sims didn't help either. Despite a 13-0 lead at the half, the game felt much closer than the score indicated as the Huskers gifted Colorado an easy 10 points. The Colorado offense made the presence known in the second half though and the Buffs rolled behind Shedeur Sander's 393 yards. Xavier Weaver appears to have solidified himself as Sanders' top target, hauling in 10 passes for 170 yards and a TD. There are still questions on how good Colorado really is though. They're clearly worlds better than they were a season ago, but are the actually legit, or are they just looking good because they're playing bad teams? College GameDay comes to Boulder next week for a matchup with Colorado State, but we're really gonna find out if the Buffs are for real when they travel to Eugene the following week.
TopGoose 21
bretticus33 22 Colorado has been THE story of the CFB season for good reason. Superstar HC, an unprecedented roster transformation, the HC’s son being the star QB, and the best player in CFB in Travis Hunter. Granted, none of the teams they beat probably won’t be great, but CU is likely starting 3-0 regardless (barring a massive upset against CSU)
CharlemagneOfTheUSA 22 Movement: (NR) - I mean, at this point it's hard not to rank them.

ColombianInIowa24 1 Colorado keeps winning big, against little but P5 teams, which keeps them here.
visor841 1
JetoGrov 3 Two P5 wins (though one of them is Nebraska...which....yeah, making fun of Nebraska just feels mean now...at least they had the 90s). Like the rest of the nation, I'm just excited to see how this plays out.

manbeardawg 11 My gut tells me that Prime is going to have these guys in my top 5 before too long. I know it's just TCU and Nebraska so far, but they're playing some fun football!
Midnight-Mustang 11 - I was a huge Deion hater before the season, but he's got me drinking black and gold kool-aid right now I'll admit. No, Nebraska and TCU aren't elite teams, but those are two very strong P-5 wins to start the year. TCU on the road and Nebraska by a lot make me feel very good about them.
redrhino777 11
CaptainScuttlebottom 12 Really debated moving them up above the rest of the PAC-12 just because I feel like they've had more opportunities to prove themselves. However, I'm considering their two opponents to be pretty unimpressive ATM, so the jury is still out on them.

throwaway_6786 12 First half was ok, second half was domination. They're one of only two teams to have a win over a ranked opponent on the road so far this season (Texas is the other), so I do think they deserve to be this high. I'm still a little wary of their OL/DL, but their skill positions are loaded with talent and Shedeur Sanders is looking like a superstar QB so far.

Tornadohunter24 18 What happens when you combine seemingly undeserved preseason hype thanks to a coaching change with one of the toughest schedules in the country? As it turns out, you get a team like this year’s Colorado, who have gone out and have at least quieted all the discussion around their legitimacy for now (albeit with the caveat that neither TCU nor Nebraska look all that good this year). It wouldn’t be an overstatement to refer to this team as one of the hottest in the nation, and now they look to continue their streak under Prime Time when they host in-state rival Colorado State in their last weekend of non-conference play before challenging the Oregon Ducks in Week 4. There’s still concern over depth and how truly talented this brand new roster is, but it’s hard to counter their current success and position as being unmerited.
