bretticus33 1 Georgia opened the season like you would expect with a dominating performance on defense and offense. However Georgia will have to wait some time before truly getting tested, unless they have a severely disappointing game.

kamiller2020 1 Well, offensively it wasn't a dream. Carson Beck wasn't bad, but didn't play well enough for people to not clamor for Brock to be the starter this year. Mike Bobo is getting berated by Georgia fans for the slow start on offense. The running game wasn't up to snuff and Bowers went long stretches without the ball in his hand. They still won 48-7. If your offense can look so anemic and still control the game, I feel pretty good about your chances. The offense will have plenty of time to figure itself out, as I don't think South Carolina will pose much of a threat.

texas2089 1 The Bulldogs got off to a slow start against UT Martin, punting on 3 of their first 4 possessions. Carson Beck looked everything like a QB making his first career start. He settled in though finishing 21/31 for 294 yards and TD as the Dawgs rolled to a 48-7 victory. Georgia is still on top until otherwise dethroned, but this position is at risk if things break a certain way soon......

ScaratheBear 1 The result: 48-7 vs UT Martin (0-1). Carson beck went 21/31 in his first collegiate start, throwing 1 TD to Mekhi Mews. The defense allowed just over 250 yards, most in late 3rd and 4th quarters against backups. It was a dominant display for the Dawgs, despite some early game jitters on the offense. The reasoning: No reason to really move them down. The Dawgs, pretty or not, handled their business against an overmatched team. There are perhaps some concerns on the offensive line and in the beat to hell RB room, but the Dawgs usually have a quiet first game or two before really getting into the swing of the season. Next up: Ball State (0-1) comes to town for a noon game this Saturday, followed by the SEC opener at home against South Carolina (0-1).
