Last Week #21 vs South Alabama : Won 37-17

Tulane shed most doubts about their team by beating up a good South Alabama team in New Orleans. Michael Pratt was extremely efficient and the defense, despite a lot of new starters, was really good. With UTSA and Boise State losing in Week 1, a home game against Ole Miss is a great opportunity to really separate themselves from the rest of the G5 pack.

They may be 23rd but the unis are 1st in the country. Tulane should continue to be the premiere “G5” team to beat and South Alabama would have been a perfect team to upset the wave. Instead they handled business and look to be right back at the forefront of the G5.

Southern Alabama is poised to make some noise in the SBC and was a trendy upset pick coming up against Tulane...well, the Green Wave still look like the cream of the crop in the G5.
