Overall Rationale: With this being Week 1 of action, my choices are drawn from a small sample size of games and data. I gave the heaviest weight to teams that won against other ranked opponents. In addition, in a couple of cases, the performances (or lack thereof) impacted the placement of teams. For example, Clemson's very bad performance against Duke weighed significantly against it. In addition, USC's excellent performances placed them in the top 5. Next week ought to offer more crucial data about the strength of a number of these teams.
