Much like Oregon, their win isn't as impressive as the score would make it seem, but 73-0 is still 73-0. An excellent sign for Oklahoma fans after a rough 2022.

cornholesurfer 17 Lincoln Riley is back? Nope. But the Sooners offense might be.

texas2089 18 The Sooners demolished Arkansas State 73-0. Dillon Gabriel barely broke a sweat and as a team, OU went 30/33 passing for 422 yards and 3 TDs. Tack on another SIX rushing TDs, and yeah you can see where this is going.

bretticus733 20 Oklahoma looked more like the Sooners of old with a 73-0 beatdown of Arkansas State. It was really encouraging to see the offense look competent, and even more encouraging that the defense was impenetrable. Venables needs a turnaround season to keep his job, so this was a good start.

crownebeach 22 Up from unranked. Ark State isn't amazing but that was an impressive showing regardless.

fredmerc111 22 Beating up on FCS teams does not impress me, but they jump a number of teams ahead of them because I think they proved some doubters (me) wrong about their efficiency.
